Membership Levels

We organize our members into these levels to help us gauge upcoming involvement; they are not commitments. Donations are suggested amounts and are not required to be considered a member. If you are a new member, fill out this survey to indicate your Membership Level of Involvement for the next 6 months.

Champions Designation as a suicide prevention champion in our community asks a minimum level of investment that may include being part of a community advisor board, part of a list-serv, or in whatever minimum capacity is capable. Promote and attend events sponsored by coalition (social media, website, listserv, etc.), meeting attendance encouraged but not required.
Accelerators Designation as a suicide prevention accelerator means skills, resources, another investments are committed to the mission and vision of the Coalition Promote and attend events sponsored by coalition; attend at least one coalition meeting per quarter, participate in at least one subcommittee and attend at least one subcommittee meeting per quarter.
Leaders Designation as a leader includes participation in the leadership group that lends skills, resources, and other investments towards the strategic planning process and organizational success of the Coalition. Promote and attend events sponsored by coalition; attend all coalition meetings and participate in at least two subcommittees; participate in the strategic planning process. Leaders are expected to work a few hours outside of meetings in addition to meeting attendance.
Organizations Patron: Can donate money but may not choose to designate an individual to participate. Supporter: Option to donate money. Designates individual(s) as representative(s) within the coalition, attends meetings regularly and participates in subcommittees; if individuals leave the organization, the organization must replace the representative. Alternates may attend meetings in place of the individual representative when necessary.
