STRENGTHENING INFRASTRUCTURE

The St. Louis Regional Suicide Prevention Coalition theme/focus for 2023 is: Strengthening Infrastructure. The Coalition continues to emphasize building its infrastructure and knowledge base for suicide prevention in the metropolitan region (including counties in Missouri and Illinois), since its mission and vision were established in 2019.

Individuals can get involved in the Coalition’s efforts through the following 2023 initiatives:

1. 2023 Speaker Series, overseen by the Speaker Series Committee and assembling presenters for this year’s educational seminars.

2. Needs Assessment and Resource Inventory, whose committee is focused on identifying key needs to direct Coalition suicide prevention priorities in 2024 and making available current resources for distribution.

3. Membership & Finance Committee, which is developing a membership registration and participation model, as well as financial protocols, to sustain Coalition efforts.

4. Steering Committee, whose leader-level members guide these diverse efforts, communication, and collaboration among Coalition members.

Other ways to get involved include telling people about the Coalition and making a donation toward Coalition programs. Click here for the donation form, hosted by Provident.
